Norse mythology calls the end of the world "Ragnarok", which is a large battle between the gods that leads to Earth's destruction. Immediately before Ragnarok however, comes Fimbulwinter or "the great winter". Fimbulwinter is three winters in a row with no break for summer and where snow comes in from all directions, creating a cold, icy and desolate landscape before the end of the world. --- A powdery, cold, white ozone scent with just a hint of dirt and sharp peppermint.

Tussie-Mussie

Tussie-Mussie - Limited Edition *New Release*

Also called a nosegay, these little bouquets have been around for a long time. Originally used to mask bad odors in medieval times (to make the nose gay or happy), in Victorian times they became quite popular as gifts as well as fashion accessories. During the holiday season they were often brought along for wassailing (singing carols door to door) or used to decorate doors and windows. In those times, handmade gifts with thought behind them were highly valued, so a nosegay was a prime gift to give during the holidays. --- A small and sweet bouquet of carnations, freesia, iris and baby's breath.

Sinterklaas

Sinterklaas - Limited Edition *New Release*

This is a holiday celebrated in the Netherlands and Belgium that was the very basis for Santa Claus. Sinterklaas celebrates the name day of Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of children. He had a long white beard and wore a red bishop's dress - it's not hard to see how he influenced the figure Santa Claus! --- A scent based on the smells that make us think of Santa Claus and the holidays. Spruce trees, holly berries, juniper berries, sugar cookies and gingerbread.

Fruitcake

Fruitcake - Limited Edition *New Release*

A traditional holiday cake, often ridiculed and sometimes loved, with quite a history. Even the ancient Romans used to make fruitcake (though it wasn't just for holidays). Over time, fruitcake eventually became a dessert used to celebrate the harvest and was supposed to offer good luck as well. Eventually however, people were legally restricted to eating fruitcake only on special occasions due to the cake being considered too rich. To this day, fruitcakes are most often seen during the holiday season. Love 'em or hate 'em, they make anyone think of the holidays! --- Rum soaked bread with raisins, candied cherries, and traditional spices.

Yule Log

Yule Log - Limited Edition *New Release*

The Yule Log is a very large log which is burned as part of a traditional Yule or Christmas celebration. The Yule log dates back as far as the Midwinter festivals in which the Norsemen would drink and sit back watching the fire dance and flicker around a burning log while enjoying tales of untold glory. --- Smoky resins, torched yule logs, burnt tobacco, all within a peaceful comforting fireplace that is sure to calm the soul.

Fresh baked goods from the market, warm delicious honey, and several casks of fine wine.
