Upon the suns rising, man arose from his slumber and took notice of the flower along with all the world’s creatures. The flower stalk slowly began to move, and then breathe, and finally it took the shape of a woman. --- Eucalyptus, morning dew, frozen orchids and crisp, wet lettuce.

Queen of the Underworld

Queen of the Underworld

Persephone was queen of the underworld in Greek mythology but not on her own accord. Myth has it that Persephone was abducted by Hades and only released under the will of Zeus. When Hades released Persephone from the underworld he gave her a pomegranate which later she would eat from. Tricked by Hades, Persephone having eaten from the pomegranate was forced into returning to the underworld for one season each year. In time, she became consort to Hades and thus was known as the queen of the underworld. --- A warm, nutty vanilla base infused with mango and pomegranate, with a hint of crushed red fruit.
